RV Cooktops — Propane & Induction, Sized for RV Kitchens
RV kitchen space is unforgiving. A cooktop that's 2 inches too wide doesn't fit. One that draws too much power trips the breaker. And one that can't handle wind is useless at a campsite in Alberta in September.
These units are sized and spec'd specifically for RV installations — not adapted from home kitchen products.
The 3-burner 21" propane cooktop at 21,000 BTU total is the most popular choice for Class A and fifth-wheel kitchens — fits the standard 21" cutout, runs on the RV's existing propane supply, and has enough output to actually boil water fast. The 2-burner 12" slide-in with cover is the compact option — right for smaller Class B vans or trailer galleys where counter space is tight. The cover doubles as a cutting board when the burners aren't in use, which matters more than it sounds in a small kitchen.
If you're running shore power or a large inverter setup, the 1800W induction cooktop is worth considering — no open flame, faster heat-up, and easier to clean. The tradeoff is power draw: 1800W at 120V means 15A, so check your shore power connection before committing.
Looking for a full oven setup? See the RV Range collection. For ventilation, the RV Range Hood pairs directly with these cooktops.
