Gas Tankless Water Heaters
Gas Tankless Water Heaters — Endless Hot Water, No Tank Required
Here's something that catches people off guard: a tankless gas water heater doesn't just save space — in a Canadian winter, it's often the only setup that actually keeps up with demand. A 40-gallon tank runs out. A tankless unit doesn't.
That said, not all gas tankless heaters are built the same. There's a real difference between a unit rated for outdoor use and one designed for indoor installation with proper venting.
For indoor whole-home use, the Camplux Climatech 3 at 4.22 GPM (102,000 BTU) handles 2–3 simultaneous fixtures comfortably — shower, kitchen, laundry running at once. Step down to the 3.60 GPM / 82,000 BTU model if your household is smaller, or the 2.64 GPM / 68,000 BTU version for a cabin or secondary suite.
Need higher output? The 5.28 GPM indoor unit — available in gray or white — is built for larger homes where hot water demand peaks in the morning. For outdoor installation, the 5.28 GPM outdoor model skips the venting requirement entirely.
One thing worth knowing: all Camplux indoor gas units require proper exhaust venting per Canadian building code. If you're not sure about your setup, check with a licensed gas fitter before purchasing.
