The 20L / 5.28 GPM class is the top of the portable water heater range. This is the unit you choose when you're supplying hot water to a group campsite, a remote work cabin, or an off-grid property where the portable heater is the primary hot water source — not a backup.

The Camplux BW528 delivers 5.28 GPM on propane — enough to run a full shower and a kitchen tap simultaneously without a noticeable drop in temperature. It's the largest portable unit in the Camplux lineup, and the one most commonly used in semi-permanent off-grid setups where a full indoor tankless heater isn't practical.

Worth knowing: higher flow rate means higher propane consumption. At full output, the BW528 burns through a 20lb tank faster than smaller units. For extended off-grid use, a larger propane supply (100lb tank or bulk fill) is worth planning for.
